Preparing to welcome a baby is one of the most exciting times in a parent’s life. But if your unborn child is diagnosed with a serious condition, it can be scary and confusing as well. Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and ChristianaCare, two of the most trusted names in health care, are bringing together the very best team of experts to support expectant families and our most vulnerable neighbors-to-be.
The Nemours & ChristianaCare Advanced Delivery Program provides state-of-the-art services for healthy, expectant mothers whose unborn child will require immediate and complex care after delivery.
Working closely with your obstetrician (OB), the Advanced Delivery team works with eligible families to prepare and plan for any care their newborn may need in the hours and days after birth.
Our program features:

- maternal care and delivery by a highly experienced team of ChristianaCare OBs, obstetric anesthesiologists and labor/delivery/postpartum nurses
- scheduled inductions of labor and C-section deliveries
- newborn care by Nemours specialists to address all of the baby’s needs
